Neutral

Neutral is a Danish company, which manufactures smart top-quality basics. The name says it all: all its clothing is manufactured in a factory powered by a wind energy plant, which produces six times more electricity than is needed for the production process. 95% of the waste water from the dyeing works is recycled, yarn is manufactured using mainly mechanical processes and the use of chemicals is kept to an absolute minimum. Using environmentally-friendly products saves water because some washing processes can be cut out. The production process is literally CO²-neutral.

As well as considering environmental aspects, Neutral is dedicated to providing fair work conditions and fair pay for all workers and suppliers involved in the production process. Neutral's clothing is certified by many organizations: all products have the Fairtrade certificate (transfair.org), are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) or BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) certified, and also have an Öko-Tex logo and the EU-environmental label for products manufactured in a particularly eco-friendly way.
