Madness

Madness is a German fashion label based in Lower Saxony. The company was founded in 1994 with the aim of producing comfortable casual fashion from natural materials. The range includes men's and women's clothing and accessories. Madness uses only natural materials such as certified organic cotton, merino wool from certified organic animal farming and linen, all of which are, of course, free of harmful substances.

Both the entire production chain and Madness itself are Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. From the autumn/winter season 2016, all its wool products are also fully GOTS certified.

Madness clothing is manufactured under fair conditions and the company shows its commitment to sustainability through its membership of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), which is seen as part of its own Corporate Social Responsibility. As a partner in the organization „RightWay Social Welfare“, Madness also supports the “Education for Slums” programme in India. Madness is focusing more and more on renewable energy and both its warehouse and headquarters are run 100 per cent on solar energy from photovoltaic panels.
