HempAge produces clothes made mainly of hemp but also from certified organic or recycled cotton. There is no certification for hemp as a raw material, but it is a material with a minimal environmental footprint: it grows quickly, needs no fertilizing and little water. It is also pest resistant and needs no chemical pesticides, so fulfils the requirements of certified organic farming. Clothing made of hemp is very skin-friendly and is an excellent choice for people with a sensitive skin or allergies. HempAge also recycles the offcuts from its production processes, using them to make new thread for its own production. HempAge produces a large range of clothing, everything from jeans to socks. The company is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) and the International Association of Natural Textile Industry (IVN). The works and the production processes are Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified.
