brainshirt is a German manufacturer based in Fulda and has been making eco-friendly and fairly produced shirts and jumpers since 2009. Their product range includes classic business and casual shirts. The company uses certified organic cotton from America, which is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. The materials are mechanically finished. No chemicals are used in this process, which means a considerable reduction in waste water pollution compared with chemical finishing. Chemical finishing can also cause allergic reactions, which is not the case with mechanical finishing. Further processing is carried out in Europe under fair conditions and all further processing works are bluesign certified. brainshirt also places great importance on production processes with reduced carbon emissions, and uses regenerative energy for production.
