bloomers - trousers have never been so green!

The name of the label Bloomers is derived from Amelia Bloomer, the American women's rights activist. In the 1850s, she campaigned, among other things, for the reform of clothing and presented the first trousers for women. Completely unusual and new at that time.

Today, Bloomers relies on GOTS-certified trousers and is now expanding them - quite equally - to men's models. The German Emsland-based family business produces trousers since 1963 and launched the eco-fair brand Bloomers in 2016.

The certified organic cotton is grown in Turkey, the packaging takes place under fair and ecological conditions in Tunisia. Bloomers is a GOTS-certified company that calls themselves "Home of Green Fashion".
